What's funny is now that I have people's attention I kind of want to just slink away and disappear. And also, how after all this time I still try to figure out why I feel like this, as though there's a logical explanation.
Would saying "this is not for attention" make it seem more or less like this is for attention?

To me, the last statement says that you appreciate the positive attention it's getting but that wasn't the real point of it. I think that you honestly wanted to share this with a few people, but the overriding motivation was to get it all down on paper (so to speak) as a therapeutic sort of thing.
Or I'm completely wrong and you're a total whore for attention. BE ADEQUITE
